What brought you to Transform Weight Loss?

I have been predominantly in one specialty for approximately 15 years and was looking for a change. My hope was to be involved in something that patients were choosing to improve their quality-of-life.

What’s your specialty?   

Eyes. I’m a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant and have worked in various roles within this specialty—back office, front office, clinic manager, surgical technologist, optical manager, associate director. Eyes are amazing organs, and it can be a very rewarding experience when you are helping people see better.

What’s the biggest reward of your job? 

Learning and helping people with that knowledge. People come to medical specialties for help, and they need a lot of guidance. I want to know the answers to help them feel comfortable and confident in the care they are receiving from every aspect.

How do you like to spend your spare time? 

Meditate and read.
